How to measure correctly
- Chest
- Run the tape horizontally around the torso across the fullest points of the chest, under the arms and across the shoulder blades at the back.
- Waist
- Place the tape measure horizontally around the waist at its narrowest point. The tape should sit snugly against the body without squeezing it. Measure standing up and relaxed, without pulling in your stomach.
- Hips
- Measure around the fullest points of the buttocks, keeping the tape strictly parallel to the floor. Keep your feet together.
- Upper arm
- Let your arm hang relaxed along your body. Measure the circumference of the upper arm at its widest point.
- Sleeve length
- Bend your arm slightly at the elbow. Place the tape at the outer shoulder point (shoulder joint) and run it down through the elbow to the wrist.
- Trouser length
- Measure down the outer side of the leg from the waistline straight down to the ankle bone.
